Well, so the last few times I have written it has been to complain about this or that, but this time, I am not going to complain at all. (I hope) Anyways, so I have been needing a new laptop for quite sometime now. About a year and a half after getting my laptop the thing started to fall apart. The screws began to strip out and one day the screen literally fell off the bottom, so I had two pieces to my laptop. Well since that day, we have had to replace the screws 3 times. So three screw replacements and two viruses later I had finally come to the conclusion that money or no money I was going to have to break down and buy a new one. Thursday I was at my mom’s house and we were looking at laptops and I told her if she found a good deal to let me know because I really needed one.

Well, Friday I went to my mom’s for the regular Friday night dinner and when I got there my mom called me into her room. Her and Ray were in there and they handed me an envelope with my name on it. When I opened it, it was the paperwork for a pink Dell laptop with “Happy Birthday” written on the paper! (If you know anything about the past, this is one of many envelopes I have opened on my birthday with paperwork of a promised gift! I was so relieved and excited that I was not going to have to find the money to purchase one! I am so blessed with such a wonderful family! :)

Yeah, so I stated in my last blog that all I seem to use this thing for is to vent on things that really REALLY bother me, and unfortunately here comes another one. Also involoving a vent in my previous blog. So as if I was not completely FED UP with Kennesaw State enough, I go in today to check my fees to see what I might still owe to the university that I am currently despising. Well, come to find out that I currently owe them $141.00. And why is this? Well because my oh so wonderful (hence the complete sarcasm in my comment) university has once again added another useless to me fee to their fee list. An INSTITUTIONAL FEE! What in the heck is that? And even more, I would like to know what it is going towards for it to be worth $100 from me that I could be spending on something much more important. I mean $100??? Good gracious! They are really on the verge of pushing me over the edge with these fees. They are really getting rediculous. I wonder what would happen if I just refused to pay it? Funny thing to me is that fact that it is not even listed on the list of fees on the “tuition and fees” website. Come on KSU. Quit taking all of the money that most of the students DO NOT HAVE!

Alright, I think my blood pressure is through the roof right now. Yes, actually pretty sure it is! I think I need to go get my hubby from his work in the basement and have him calm me down. He is the only one who can change this horrible mood that KSU has once again put me in. Good night everyone.

I am really getting frustrated with the themes that are on WordPress. I want something that better expresses me. Of course, I am not computer savvy enough to figure out how to do that. Plus, my computer is on its last leg, so therefore I try to do as little with it as I can. I see a new computer in my future, I am just not sure exactly when in my future that is going to be. Hopefully, sooner than later.

School is officially stressing me out. Not so much the classes, just the fact that for some reason these days KSU likes to nickle and dime the heck out of their students for no real reason at all. At least I have yet to see the reason. I mean they are building tons of buildings that I have yet to step foot into, I am paying for a gym I do not use, I am paying for the athletic events that I do not attend. I would love to be able to only pay for the things that matter to me. I will be glad when I am done with the place honestly. 1 more year, I just keep having to tell myself that. I am on the last small stretch to get my degree and there is no sense in quitting or tansferring now.

As for everything else, well that is a completely different topic for a completely different blog. Lots of things that I just prefer not to get into right now, on here. But on a better note (since all I seem to do on this is complain about things) I do have the best husband I could have ever asked for. He is awesome! :) I can not even put into words how much I appreciate him and all he does for us!

Well on that note, I have to go and get ready for the day. I have lots to do and not so much time to get it all done! So for now, this is good bye.

I just wanted to take a second to wish everyone a very…..

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I hope everyone has a great Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Enjoy it!

Gosh, Christmas is almost here! It is hard to believe that it is next week. For some reason, it does not feel like Christmas this year. I don’t know if it is the wacky weather, or how fast it is coming up, but it does not feel like Christmas at all. Anyways, I have yet to finish my Christmas shopping which is stressing me out, well that and I have no ideas of what to get for those I still have to shop for. At least I am done with the gifts that we needed for the family Christmas this weekend! Well, really that is about it for now!

On a side note, Christmas is so much better this year since Scott is home and that is really what matters!! :)

Well Thanksgiving has come and gone….almost.

I had Thanksgiving with my Dad and Thanksgiving with my Mom and we are going this weekend to Virginia to see Jamie and have Thanksgiving with her! All the family time was great, almost really great with the exception of some family drama. Some people have some nerve, that is all that I am going to say. But anyways, I am looking forward to this weekend so much that it is Sunday and I am already asking for the weekend. I miss my sister a TON and I am super excited to be going to see her! :)

With the final week of actual classes coming up I am swamped with projects and studying for finals. But hey, after this week I have a whole month off from school and it will be a nice needed break! I can’t wait for Christmas this year! Scott is home which is going to be the best part, because after last year, I will be thankful for every year that he is home for the holidays!

25 days til Christmas! :)

So it has been quite a while since I have blogged on here. Between working, projects and trying to get registered for classes at freakin’ KSU I feel like I have not even had time to do anything!! So of course, other than all things listed before, there has not been much else going on.

I am, however, getting ready for the holidays. I have already jumped the gun and put up my Christmas tree! Yeah, I know it is not even Thanksgiving yet, but I am already feeling the Christmas spirit! Since I have not yet invested in decorations for the house for Fall/Thanksgiving, Christmas decorations worked! Plus, it is only 40 days til Christmas at this point and I would like to enjoy the decorations for more than a month! I love the family time at the holidays and can’t wait for it to be here! :)

On a good note, I only have 4 official classes left of this semester and then I have finals and then this semester is done! Thank goodness. One down, 3 more (and a summer) to go before I graduate! I can’t wait to be done! Plus, the sooner that these 4 classes are done, the sooner we get to head up to Virginia to see Jamie! I miss my sister tons and I can’t wait to see her! 3 weeks from today we will be on our way! :)

Other than that, I think that is really all I have to update on. My life is pretty boring right now!

Lately, I have been saying so busy!

Ashley’s wedding two weekends ago was so much fun! It was a beautiful wedding and she FINALLY became Mrs. Bryant! I am so happy for her and Brandon and their new happy life together! :) Congrats guys!

This past weekend I spend time with Nathan and Magan (my brother and his girlfriend, for those who don’t know)! It was a good weekend! Scott was out of town hunting and I was glad to be able to spend time with the two of them!

This weekend is hopefully going to be just as good! With the exception of the many school assignments that I have to do! Sometimes school work takes up too much time! Especially when it comes to Early Childhood Education! They are not hard, it is a lot of lesson planning and stuff that will help me out one day, however it takes SO much time! They are so in depth, and I do not see the point in writing 10 page lesson plans that are scripted that I will never write another one like it! Ugh, but soon enough this will be over, well at least I hope to graduate one day soon! Haha! Another year and a half is all I have!

Speaking of class, I need to look at the schedule of courses, so I should get to that!

Why is it that a simple little sinus infection has to last so long? I mean dang, just when I think that I am getting rid of it, it starts ALL over from square one. I guess it is the weather. You know, I like when the weather stays the same, not one day it be in the higher 80’s and the next lower 70’s. I would not mind it if I did not have to get sick everytime. I hate not being able to BREATH out of my nose! But anyways, I guess I am just venting. Surprise, surprise! But that is that and I just hope I get rid of this soon.

Things have been up and down so much lately that I have not even had time to blog.

Let’s see last Thursday night my pawpaw passed away. It has been a hard time, but we are glad that he is no longer in pain. We know that we will see him again soon, but just continue to pray for my family as we get through this time.

On top of everything else, my computer got a virus over the weekend and it has been a pain in the rear to get it fixed, but Scott is in the process of finishing that up now. Thank goodness he was able to save my pictures, music and documents. He is so good, and I love him so much.

Other than that, life has been going on as usual. Just going to school and working and staying pretty busy.

Times Up.
